Dr. Kang
President and Founder
While he was studying for his PhD in chemical engineering, he started a job tutoring students for math and science. During his tutoring job, Dr. Kang saw many talented international students struggle because they did not know about the differences between their education system and the American education system. So, he decided to be a guide to new international students navigating the US educational system.
Now, Dr. Kang has over 20 years of experience in the study abroad and college consulting for international student business. He has been working as a college and academic counselor for 15 years and had helped more than 1,000 international students. He established BGE to provide safe life circumstances with professional academic guidance for international students to succeed in the United States.
Mrs. Shi
Chief College Consultant
Mrs. Shi is a senior education expert in the United States, graduated from Yangzhou University with a bachelor’s degree in China.
She came to America and received her M.A. from the University of Wisconsin and M.Ed. from Framingham State University. She was director of the Chinese language program at top private high school in the United States, an AP examiner for the American College Board, and a member of the Boston Globe Senior Advisor for Education.
Mrs. Shi has been an educator in the United States for nearly 30 years and is very familiar with the United States education system. She is successful parent, teacher, and International student director. She has sent many students to top colleges including her own children (MIT and Harvard University).
